1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Pinch of salt
3 to 4 crushed candy canes
Red food coloring
Instructions
1. Preheat oven
2. Whip egg whites
3. Add sugar gradually
4. Mix peppermint
5. Fold candy canes
6. Pipe meringues
7. Bake until crisp
